Trekking Pals is a travel community founded by Habiba Davis, a Moroccan expat living in San Francisco. After leaving her tech job in the U.S. to backpack the world for a year, Habiba discovered her true calling—to empower women from all backgrounds to step out of their comfort zones, build confidence, and explore the world fearlessly. Since then, Trekking Pals has led adventures in Morocco, Bali, Tunisia, Peru, Guatemala, and beyond. We are thrilled to partner with The Expat Woman community to create even more opportunities for adventurous, driven women to see the world, build meaningful connections, and experience the magic of Morocco together.

I could not recommend Travel with Trekking Pals more. Not only are their trips thoughtfully curated, the company focuses on sustainability and a true local experience. I joined their Tunisia 2024 trip and Habiba set it up for success from start to finish. She answered all questions as quickly and thoughtfully as she could. She ensured that everyone was prepared to know what to pack and what to expect, and she set up an intro call to help the group and solo travelers like me get to know each other a bit before we arrived in Tunis. On the trip, the company went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and they set up so many memorable experiences. The small group size and local guides made the trip even more special. Whether you’re traveling with a friend or looking for an adventure to join solo like me, this is a great company to go with!

I traveled with Travel With Trekking Pals for the all-women's group to Peru for International Women's Day in March 2024! From start to finish, it was an amazing experience. Habiba communicated well making sure we were all prepared and had all questions addressed before the trip. During the trip, even though she wasn't able to be there she was always responsive and there to support the group. The trip covered all the highlights near and around Cusco, and of course, trekking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu was the best part. I couldn't have asked for a better group to do it with and it's an experience that I'll always remember. It felt extra special doing it for IWD with a group of women which I think was a great idea. I came out of feeling inspired with a newfound appreciation for my strength and capabilities! Everything was highly organized and efficient and our guide Tina was superb! I can't recommend Travel with Trekking Pals enough for those looking for an organized group trip that you'll never forget!

My trekking trip to Bali with Trekking Pals was incredible because of our tour person Habiba, she was amazing! Bali was on my bucket list and Habiba made it possible with her great planning! She was always friendly, kind, caring, attentive and available for our questions and to deal with our travel logistics. She is very knowledgeable and travel experienced. Her itinerary was clear and informative and she stayed in communication with each of us before and after our trip. I loved the group which she put together, everyone was supportive and we ended up developing long-lasting friendships. Being the eldest in the group (65), I always felt safe and satisfyingly accomplished after each of our fun adventures!
I like to be active and I have more adventures on my bucket list. Because Habiba gave me the best travel experience, I will again book another trip with her!
